This photo shows how I obtained these mounting kits. No 3M stories about two of them, they were taped to the instructions so they're basically rubbish. Very very disappointed in this mess. Good luck to everyone who may decide to purchase.

Perfect I don't know what else I could use to mount it to the wall besides double sided tape, it comes with two strips of 3M tape on the back, such a waste Money but a clever idea that is easy to assemble and needs somewhere higher than usual

Unfortunately the adhesive used on it is not a standard 3m strip that can be stuck on and easily removed from painted walls. Also, it's not true pure white. It is slightly creamy or very faintly yellowish in colour. However, it does exactly what it promises. Just know that this is forever if you don't want to remove the paint from the walls.

I installed one in my living room. It's never been dropped so I'm guessing others have odd colors or wallpaper. The ONLY complaint is that it was literally made for version 2 and doesn't work for version 3 in any way. Yes, they advertised it correctly. But a small change in design would have protected it in the future. Just a snap cap instead of rails. Then it works for everyone and everything with a square base.

The first device I tried required me to hammer (with a rubber mallet) into the base of the camera and it wouldn't slide back out unless you broke the base. This is a great idea, just not a very good implementation, maybe the spec is a bit off. I have two more that I will try in due course, but not during a pandemic.

What I did was take a small chisel to the raised lines inside the bracket and scrape them inwards a bit on either side. It tingled everywhere. The camera is now easy to insert and remove. Otherwise he does what he says.
