💆 Scunci No-Damage Black Hair Ties: All-Day Hold, Flat Design – 14-Pcs per Pack (2-Packs) Review

I used to buy these when they appeared to be all nylon and were an endless loop. Over time, they stretched, but almost did not damage the hair. They appear to be polyester and have a fusible seam that catches hair terribly. Scunci probably started using a different factory and the quality has dropped drastically.

It's disappointing that more than half of them broke immediately at the splice when I ripped them off the card and tried to lift my hair. I've bought from the store before and never had this problem.

started buying them at walmart and recently they were completely sold out. They hold a little tighter and are less finicky than most hair ties I've tried. They really don't pull my hair that much unless I sleep with it on. Very comfortable, they keep and I only have to replace them because of their loss or my girlfriend's theft.

If I could rate it negatively I would. I was specifically looking for this brand of hair ties because I had bought them from a local seller in the past. I prefer her. Something must have been wrong with this batch or it's fake because literally the FIRST THREE STRIPS I took out of the pack ALL broke in half! Someone wrote in a review that this was their experience and I decided to take a chance. I am ashamed that I am not listening. SHAME ON YOURSELF IF YOU BUY THESE THEY ARE TERRIBLE. GET THEM

A few years ago a Scunci lasted several months, last year I saw their durability diminish and now they only last a week or two before breaking. After some research, parent company Scunci Conair was bought by Transom Capital in mid-2019. This most likely led to a change in production and the subsequent deterioration of a great product.
