Not for me, low power for 20V (or 18V)

Overall build quality seems good for the low price (3 stars generous). However this is one of the SDS Plus rock drill bits with a minimum output of 18v/20v but may be acceptable for light duty. The manufacturer's quoted rating is 7/16" in concrete, the smallest number I've seen for an 18/20v system. It has a suitably low impact force rating (0.7 ft-lb). only "hammer" (chisel), while almost every other rotary hammer has this function. On the plus side, it supports hex bits as well as SDS-Plus…

Pros
  • Three tools in one - Combination of hammer, drill and screwdriver in one tool saves time and increases efficiency.
Cons
  • weak

Very impressed and satisfied

The reason for this purchase was that our Hitachi corded punch stopped working. It was a pistol grip drill so it was easy to store and use. We have cordless screwdrivers, drills, and a Bosch reciprocating saw, but their 18-volt hammer drill was very expensive and looked pretty bulky. To attempt. I also ordered an extra battery. We only needed it to drill Tapcon screws with a 3/16" bit or install plastic anchors with a 1/4" bit. For something extra, we use our corded hole punch from Bosch…

Pros
  • ESC - Precise starting with full control of the torque required for the job.
Cons
  • High price
