These were faces in the OPPOSITE direction.

These were the faces in the OPPOSITE direction shown in the pictures so do not use this as a guide or you will have to return it. Considering the orientation of this plug is almost certainly the reason someone would want to buy it, this is pretty ridiculous.

NEITHER cables work

I needed two cables so I bought this set. I have two but only one works. When I connected the OLD cable to the drive, it immediately came alive. The one from that Seadream 2 pack didn't work. He powered on the drive, but continued to reinitialize it. I've already cut off the unnecessary loops on the side of the cable, so I guess I'm stuck with that. Intermittent data connection. Do not use on discs with valuable data.

I ordered these specifically because the straight cables that come with external drives can create awkward gaps when trying to hold the drive securely. I've been trying these cables for weeks and they work fine, no problem, and then your computer and hard drive fails the connection with no table wobble or hard drive movement. I'm pretty sure that's why I sent back the hard drive I bought at the same time. I thought the hard drive was defective. I noticed today that the folders wouldn't open…
