No cable connections.

If you want to connect something then this is not an option to buy. If you don't want to drill holes in the case yourself, it's not possible to close the box with something attached. The included instructions state that the "cable connectors" are to be removed with pliers. No cable connections need to be removed. This is a return.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

I used this on a pair of outdoor horizontal duplex outlets that didn't require a bubble cover. You definitely can't leave the cable plugged in all the time, but if you're looking for a place that only needs to be plugged in and closed temporarily, this is the case for you. This is a very nice low profile cover that looks a lot better than the typical "In Use Bubble Cover" type cover. You won't be disappointed if this isn't a place you need a permanently attached cable.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
