He was happy with it and didn't complain about it

I got this for my husband because he used this brand that the company he works for worked, was provided . He was pleased with her and had no complaints about her. He wanted one for himself so I ordered one for him.

Pros
  • Working on an iron and then straight away pulling the carpet
Cons
  • There are problems

Cover required for 5 stars

I've been installing floors for 18 years, finally bought one about 2 months ago. It's a good buy, wish I had made it many years ago, no matter how many loops or from rows, it simplifies everything by cooling the seam behind the iron to set the rug to perfect seams. Gone are the days of hammering roofing nails up and down a seam to hold patterns in place. a seam burner in a closet to work in a room, don't sit idly by for 20 minutes waiting for it to cool down. The only downside to this tool…

Pros
  • Maximum carpet weight
Cons
  • Mostly fine but...

Takes longer to sew first and doesn't instantly cool seam to stretch

Complete trick. Bought mine from a flooring retailer, not Revain, with a 3 year warranty instead of 1 year. I had no problems joining the seams without them, thanks to practice and skill this is something for inexperienced fitters. Initial stitching takes longer and the stitching doesn't cool down to stretch immediately. You still need to let the seam cool, keep it away from the iron or it will suck the burning smoke into the pile and stain the carpet. It's too light for the weight of the seam,

Pros
  • Revolutionary new power tool dissipates heat and instantly cools carpet seam
Cons
  • The list goes on.
