Good workmanship, durable soles, high-quality leather. Make sure you have a horn like any quality shoe, at first it fits snugly around your foot and when you break it in it should fit your feet.

I usually wear a size 9W from other brands but I couldn't even begin to fit into these 9W shoes. The shoes appeared to be very well made and I'm sorry they didn't fit. Didn't want to try another pair as they are so small compared to the ones I usually wear.

I like the one that says. Made in the USA. I have one that I bought when I was in Saudi Arabia and it is still in GOOD CONDITION. For over 20 years

In the 1960's, sophomore year, in the Philippines, I owned such a shoe, it was called after the old movie Zhivago, all leather, and today I'm 69 years old and I live in California. I met my favorite shoes, wish I had full leather sole but on a budget maybe next time
