The cable is a bit stiff and sometimes difficult to unwind. but for the most part it works as intended. I like that the bike mount is handy even when you're not using the lock.

These locks seem safe and easy to use. They're a little tricky to implement, but doable. We bought three of these and use them to lock our bikes in our secure garage.

I just needed a basic bike lock to secure my bike while I was at work. It's super easy to use and convenient. The only complaint I have is that straightening the cable to block it can be difficult at times, but that's probably due to its level of security. Overall I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a lock and it was a great purchase.

This lock was purchased with a key to attach a mountain bike to a luggage rack. Worked well for the first few weeks. I suddenly discovered that the key doesn't open the mechanism no matter how hard I try. Luckily the bike wasn't bolted to the lock, otherwise it would have taken powerful bolt cutters to loosen it. I assume that even if a little dirt or sand gets in it will completely ruin the mechanism. Tried silicone grease. will not work

First, I'm strong for my size, but I haven't even tried to prove it. I looped the cable around the post to lock up the bike and held the ends of the cable in my hands. The end with the lock fell off in my hand, leaving bare strands of metal protruding from the cable. I didn't pull or stretch, I just wrapped the cord around. Maybe I got the end of the lock right. But if a little girl can pull it out with ease, a thief will destroy it in no time!

The main body uses a hardwired thick cable which makes it difficult to pull through the bike's wheels and a bit difficult to store. I was willing to endure it. above as a compromise for the proposed security, but another problem arose. I have found that if the code rings are rotated before the end is fully inserted into the lock, the combination is effectively changed. The rigidity of the cable made partial insertion a real risk unless enough force was used to connect the elements. I figured…

This is your most important bike lock. no fancy bells and whistles to add to its value/price so it was nice to buy something that didn't cost a lot to serve its purpose. It's a bit difficult to lock the bike quickly as I have to wind and unwind it every time so it's a bit of a hassle when I'm in a hurry but nothing I can't help but notice.
