⌚ Seiko SRPD79 Seiko Sports 5 Black Men's Watch - 42.5mm Stainless Steel Review

I love this watch for everyday. The PVD coating looks great and feels very durable. Exchanged the bracelet for an Uncle Seiko waffle bracelet and the combination looks really cool.

Great watch, feels comfortable, sturdy and heavy (not bulky). In my opinion it's the perfect size as it's not too big but big enough to be easy to read and eye-catching. The product was delivered quickly and came triple wrapped, so I'm very satisfied.

Cool looking quality watch. All black faces/hands/markings are very dimly lit (unlike other Seiko) making it difficult to read. But it also looks very cool the way it is. So the darkened SRPD79 is more of a functional gem, unless you are standing in bright light. If you're good at it, you'll love the watch.

Really like it on my wrist. Sharp look. The case is matte, which is nice. This is my second Seiko automatic and for the money you can't beat their product. One problem is that the seller packs the watch too thin. The box with the Seiko watch was all crumpled. Otherwise I am satisfied with the seller and of course with the watch. Came a day early.

It is much smaller than it looks and much easier to read than the pictures. The stealth color scheme looks great; I was hesitating between buying this one and another with colored indices and am glad I chose this one. You will too. The downsides include the mechanical and cheap strap, as well as the barely-there lume that disappears after 30 seconds.

The look of this watch on the wrist is premium, black on black, probably the best combination on the Seiko SRPD, plus automatic movement, stopwatch and manual wind, just impossible to beat. Buy an actual strap, like the 22mm Crafter Blue Black Rubber to complete the look, as the strap that came with the watch isn't very good. (Update) Still great, changed the bezel insert to the Yachtmaster look and now I like it even more. perfect for a sleek and tactical yet elegant look.

I really like the aesthetic and feel of this watch. It's both subtle and loud. It's not flashy enough to draw the attention of passers-by, but I definitely got compliments. I miss the lum on my hands. If I ever take a second, this will be the reason. I also didn't like how the shank strap felt on my wrist. According to the design, it has two layers of straps between the wrist and the beautiful back. I replaced mine with a factory tortoiseshell strap. I wish it had black hardware on the strap…
