The brightness of this lamp is like looking at the sun lol. I use two of these to light up my streaming space that uses a green screen, and the adjustable dial works wonders with the windows in my room changing from day to night. Also a great option if you need an emergency light as it runs on AA batteries. I used Duracell Ultras to test it and it ran for about 8 hours before starting to fade. This is a great light for videographers or photographers who need good light.

I bought this light primarily because it has adapter plates for common Li-Ion batteries like the Canon LP-E6. The brightness is pretty good, but there are two critical flaws.1. The color balance is just terrible and the filter doesn't help. You need to custom white balance or correct it in PP. Of course, it doesn't go well with other lights.2. A bit bulky but perfect for the price. There are hot shoes on all four sides, and the filters are decent if you need them. Movement is somewhat restricted. Up to 8ft for good lighting and it only gives you "bright eyes" and highlights in your hair after 12ft. All this camera battery adapter stuff is a joke. The batteries weigh 3 times the flashlight and cause it to tip backwards. Just use rechargeable AA batteries. Dimmer is ok. Again for the price. Perfect. Not spectacular.

I have a problem. I thought it was an ordinary LED flashlight designed just for work. But I don't know if it's just me, but the light is kinda weird green. It's not white. And since this model (168A) doesn't have a "color temperature wheel" I have to live with that green light now. The reviews sounded great and the videos I saw convinced me to buy it. That's incredibly inconspicuous. This light is really powerful, we shoot youtube videos indoors and one light seems to do all the work we need, we have some white boards around the area set up to reflect the light and it's great. We bought 2 batteries with charger to stay out of the dark. I would say a battery lasts 2-3 hours and I only shot 20-30 minutes at a time so around 6 videos on a single charge. This is a great little lamp that I use to light up my photo booth when I'm shooting in a fairly dark place. I love the fact that I can use my Nikon batteries (En-EL15) to power this flashlight.
