This is a great little lamp that I use to light up my photo booth when I'm shooting in a fairly dark place. I love the fact that I can use my Nikon batteries (En-EL15) to power this flashlight. Normally I only have to turn the light down to about half its power to illuminate objects well enough to see them on the monitor. To test Nikon's battery life, I turned on the flashlight at full power and found the battery lasted about 2 hours. But now. The light has a greenish tint as another reviewer mentioned. Since I use the flash and auto white balance, my camera does a good job of eliminating this, so it's not a problem for me. This can be a problem for you if this is your only light source. Just make sure you get the white balance right.
