Works great on paper and paper crafts

This, possibly one the cleanest yet most user-friendly transfer papers I have ever worked with. It's waxed paper which means it's difficult to rub off and I wouldn't recommend it for artistic purposes like drawing and painting as it's difficult to clean and the wax can bleed to the surface. It's great for transferring patterns, though, and probably works well with woodburns and other artistic mediums that aren't affected by paper's difficult-to-erase nature.

Pros
  • WORKS WELL: This tracing paper is great for transferring designs and leaves dark sharp lines - easy to see and any remaining transfer lines are easy to erase or sand away
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was

Call me old. Carbon paper was a way of life for me in the age of the typewriter. So I figured out what carbon paper could be like these days. Went to a large art supply store and after the shock of the stickers went to the office supply chain. It seems that carbon paper is now following the prices of things like buggy whips and button-up shoes. It means crazy. I needed about 5 sheets but I bought this item because it will provide me with carbon paper for several years without ripping me off.

Worked great! on Paper

This carbon paper had a "stream" drawn across wood to cover the inside of the Duck Pond game my husband and I designed for our church's fall party. There was a real 'stream' where the children could watch their rubber ducky 'swim' and if they caught the duck before it fell into the 'pond' (kids' pool) they got a small prize! Fall Bash is an alternative for children whose parents are afraid that they will play trick or treating on Halloween. We had hay rides, a petting zoo and lots of fun games…

Ideal for transferring line drawings onto canvas etc.

I bought this product as an alternative to rubbing the back of the paper with an image I want to transfer with a pencil. Before I start painting, I often draw my designs on printer paper. In some cases I even start with images printed from the internet. I then transfer the image to a canvas or board (or whatever) that I will draw on. If using it for this type of work, be sure to brush off excess carbon from the canvas/backing. Especially when working with water-based media (markers…
