Great accessory. The IR5 rating is dead.

Bought as a spare. They work great with a transparent screen. Too bad they didn't have an ir3. ir5 and ir8 are available. they hold up well. Hard to scratch.

Fits 3M 90028-80025 face shield with some ingenuity

I was looking for a face shield that could be used for sanding and plasma cutting. The #5 collapsible face shields cost $40 and up. I bought a 3M face shield (part 90028-80025) for $11 and this #5 face shield for $13. I drilled 2 holes in the top of the sign and it screwed it on and stood just right! Only $24 for a good grinder and plasma shield!

Too short to see the workpiece.

There should be 2 different types of IR screens available. The one that came with my protective mask is completely useless as it is about an inch shorter to cover the area you would normally use to view the workpiece. I called the company that now sells this product and all they can offer is a replacement main screen with IR protection. I don't recommend buying a replacement if the original doesn't work.
