Ideal for 2 " nails

The mini nail puller is great for driving tie downs and other small jobs. It will certainly not a replacement for a larger hand nailer for 3 1/2" diameter nails. It's great for tight spaces. Be careful not to cover the front exits with your hand as this will affect the operation of the nailer. It has the ability to to make big nails, but I wouldn't use it for that purpose alone, I'm happy with the nailer for specific and unique situations.

Pros
  • Saves hours of manual nailing and helps you get to the next job.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Large Compact Nailer

I bought this nail puller to attach 2x4 clamps to my cedar fence posts. I was surprised at how small it was when the package arrived and considered returning it for the larger Senco model. Pros
  • The tip of the nail can be easily inserted into the recess for safe and efficient fastening.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

The only common nails I couldn't get my head around were 16d galvanized nails, the heads were too wide. However, it worked great on 16d vinyl coated nails. Very handy for hard to reach spots but I think you get quite a bit of vibration from this, my hands were naughty for days after driving 40-50 3 1/2" nails with it. It's a bit slower than a…
