🔒 Silver Notebook Laptop Keyed Lock for Enhanced Nano Security Slot Protection Review

The cable lock came in new packaging - but does not work. They literally have to turn the key when they put it in the lock to pack and they don't see that the lock doesn't work. So sick of the crappy products on Revain.

I just bought a new thin HP laptop and needed a lock for conferences. Unfortunately the only nano lock I could find was with a key lock. I really wanted a combination lock like all my previous ones. I hate worrying about losing a key. Please do in combined style!

Warning for those looking for a nano lock. Bought for HP Elite X2 and it doesn't fit. If it would fit, it would be a great product.

My original rating is below. I returned it for a smaller version that should fit thinner laptops and Chrome Books. It didn't fit in my HP Chrome Book - it slides out easily. So it's back. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with HP trying to figure out what size lock would fit and after asking my question to a fourth person I gave up. My new laptop has a nano security slot which is hard to find compared to the standard security slot. I've been looking for a long time and finally found this one - it does exactly what is described. I'm happy with it - it's priced much lower than the locks sold by HP or Dell.

Fits in my HP Nano slot as promised. It seemed a bit sluggish there but I pulled it and it's holding up great. The wire looks ok. I use it to protect my laptop when I want to run to the bathroom at school/public library. This won't keep seriously trained robbers at bay, but the adventurous thief I think will settle down. Arrived quickly too. I wish it was a combination lock instead of a key, but it was a lot cheaper than a Kensington lock.

When I bought my laptop (my first) I didn't know it had a nano slot. I bought other cables but they don't fit. Then I found one, but the anchor that went into the groove later fell apart. The manufacturer sent me another one, which also fell apart. The anchor for this is part of the locking mechanism, so it never becomes isolated and cannot come loose. I am very happy with this cable. And he has a key that I prefer to memorizing a combination. Five starts without question.
