Quality and choice is good for in-ear headphones

I like being able to choose which type of headphones (e.g. on-ear, full-size or in-ear) I want to plug in and not Be sure to use the supplied type with a typical block. I bought this to replace a broken TV headphone headset and so far (2 months at the time of this review) the Flex 5000 has worked very well. My missing 5th star is due to a small issue with the alignment of the battery clamp and receiver. Connect the headset of your choice to the small battery pack in the product image. It would…

These are Sennheiser headphones

The name says it all, it's Sennheiser. It's designed to work as expected - a compact, easy to set up and use audio device that's perfect for a specific use case/need. For a person with hearing impairment, the expression "sound matters" has a completely different meaning. I use them for my bedroom TV system so I don't wake everyone up (requires high volume). My original Sennheiser RF headphones were showing age/wear and I needed a new system. I could have bought the latest full size / on-ear RF…

Great for the Hearing Impaired

My 88 year old mother got to a point where she couldn't read the search engines or the ads on our old 49 inch TV. Eventually I broke down and bought a bigger set, but of course the new ones don't have audio/video jacks, so their old Sennheiser headphones won't work anymore. After many comparisons I bought this set with optical input and I am very satisfied with it. Since you can plug in your own headphones, I was able to get her headphones under her chin since she can't raise her arms above her

Best Recommended in Headphones

I bought this device because it allows you to use any headphones you already have. I use it to listen to some TV shows without making them so loud that my wife has to wear headphones. I feed it from my HiFi amp connected to the TV. It works very well and gives me independent volume control. With open headphones or simple in-ear headphones, the latency is very low. So make sure your headphones/earphones fit snugly so there is no sound from the TV, otherwise the delay will be unacceptable. Of…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

This is for the FLEX 5000 HF Earphone System. Update after a few months: still very happy with the system. Just an additional downside for the receiver - it doesn't have a MUTE button. So if you're someone watching a live show and turning off commercials, you'll need to turn the volume all the way up on the receiver instead. which is not the case. t leave, just very low. You can do this by holding down the down button instead of pressing it multiple times. But as mentioned in the main review…
