This topper isn't cool. It shifts in the direction I use the most. It's not as soft as I expected. Maybe twice as thick would be ok. But the cost is likely to triple.

Bought for someone who just got into hospice and was tied to a 'hospital bed'. The moment it was placed on her bed, she smiled and said THANK YOU. It helped her sleep without pain. She said she felt like she was being comfortably hugged. Good product. Recommended for those looking for comfort.

This might be great for some. For me, this was the most uncomfortable and hottest pad I've ever tried to sleep on. Also watch out for gas formation. The smell is STRONG when first unpacked. I put the topper in a separate room, raised it on crates to allow air to circulate around it, and ran the ceiling fan and 2 air purifiers for 4 days before the smell dissipated.

It looks like a manufacturer fault. I've had touch toppers like this before and they lasted for years. I have two now that have snapped in the middle of normal sleep for a few weeks. The problem is probably that they compress the package too much. That's probably why he was lying on the ground. My mattress is firm and doesn't sink, so it wasn't stretched. Just a very common use.

This got two stars because the parts that actually stretch properly feel quite comfortable. Unfortunately, my topper is unusable.
