Separating Jacket Zipper Zippers Jackets Review

I understand the 1 star rating is a bit unfair as the zipper works, is designed for heavy loads and is the right length. However, I would like the difference between left (female) and right (male) pull to be stated in the title rather than the last paragraph of the description.

Very heavy full metal zipper, I'm sure it will last the life of the jacket. I had to replace a cheap plastic zipper that had some of the prongs ripped out the first day I wore it. I want to leave you with two things: 1. This is a quality product at an affordable price, and 2. It arrived damn fast.

I bought this zip when the zip broke in my 1 year old coat. Instead of throwing away my coat, I bought this zipper and tucked it in. It is perfect and more durable than the zipper that was originally in the coat. Because it's metal, it's a lot heavier. My only complaint is that the zipper can be difficult to open at times, but that's probably because it's metal.

Very disappointed. Falls apart after the zipper. It's not enough just to show the zipper. Look at the posted picture showing the box where the zipper connects at the bottom. The zip I received does not have such a box, just two long PLASTIC rods that do not keep the zip closed when closed. Compare the image in the post to the flash image I received.
