These are fully traditional diner mugs and a great buy. I give them five stars for the looks and the weight but only four stars because of the size which is smaller than advertised. They are advertised as having an 11 ounce capacity, but they are more likely to have an 8 ounce capacity (maybe 9 ounces if filled to the brim). It's a little disappointing but the quality seems better than other mugs I've found. so I'll live with it. The bottom says 'Made in China' so I'll have to see if they still

Have had them for a few weeks and they have a thumbs up. About 10 years ago I bought a set of 4 versions of Retro Planet which still sell at a much higher price than this one and they are good but there are some notable differences. New below in the 1st photo and on the right in the 2nd almost the same but a little wider and higher but a little thinner than the walls.
