The trade offs are exactly what you should expect compared to wire, plastic, and wood.I think the much thicker than wire, much thinner than plastic or wood, steel hangers make a good combination of strength and durability while being fairly narrow for better storage. They allow more things to be hung in a given space relative to the thicker plastic or wood ones while not bending out of shape and holding even doubled up…

I'm throwing out all of the old and odd hangars in my closets. Even my heaviest coats are well supported with these hangars. Closets look more organized with the hangars looking alike.

Happy with the hangers. They look well-made. Bought them to avoid plastic pollution. Very disappointed in the packaging. Do better Seropy. Please reimburse my City for the cost to clean up your plastic pollution.

Kinda disappointed was expecting them to be sturdier, will have to see if they hold up and not bend. Bought them to hang jeans on, I'm a bigger woman so my jeans are heavier.

Was unsure whether to get these or just go to a local store and grab some cheap plastic or velvet ones. So glad I bought these. Very well made and strong (can hang very heavy jackets etc).Quality construction, light weight, sturdy, space saving, and a great price (bought when they were on sale). I am tired of the "space saving" plastic hangers that break easily. These hangers are very sturdy and I doubt they will ever break or wear out. They should last a lifetime.

I don't understand the negative reviews. For me, these are the perfect hanger. They are very durable and fit all of my garments without a problem including coats. The hangers are sturdy without being too bulky like some hangers. I am very satisfied.

In an effort to become a less toxic home, switching our plastic hangers for these was a success. My only complaint is that they are heavier then the alternative plastic, but way more durable!

When I opened these, I thought they were thin and flimsy. Until I hung a man’s extra large leather coat in one. It didn’t bend at all after almost a week and I don’t think they will. These hangers are amazing!
