    Works great!: Kitchen and dining room

    I love these salt shakers, bought them to carry in my purse. Since many restaurants only give out bags of salt, I decided to take it with me. The snap-on lid works great, I'm not worried about it spilling into my purse.

    I recently moved to the east side of Hawaii and the year round humidity is beyond measure! My metal-topped glass shakers get rusty and soggy throughout the day. They have a tight lid to protect against moisture and nothing will rust. They are not fashionable, but functional is more important!

    They were just the right size for use in my RV and the snap on lid to keep my salt dry was just what I was looking for but they are not strong at all. The salt cap snap cap broke within the first week I had it. I can still use it but it doesn't get stuck when opened. I can't recommend them for the price.

    The "hinge " for opening the lid breaks easily. The holes are big.

    I only used part of a set of two. I just like some salt for my grab and go breakfast. I've only used it about a dozen times, but I can already see that the plastic hinge on the lid is starting to break. When it's completely over I'll go to the second shaker. When this is over I will look for something else. Also note that I use a few grains of rice to keep the salt from sticking together (hint from my wife), but unfortunately the holes are big enough for those grains of rice to slip through…
