I was looking for some pens to do finishing work on alcohol ink and gouache paintings. The silver pens are nice and smooth and are fine enough for details but bold enough to show up. I recently learned that you can use gel pens on fabric and that as long as you iron it, it will stay there permanently. Since I was doing tye-dye homecoming shirts with my students, I thought they might be useful on the mums we printed on heat transfer paper. All turned out well. The pen (the part that you hold) is fine, not super comfortable but still functional. But the ink is very disappointing. It's much more watery than other gel pens I've used. As a result, the ink requires two or three layers to create a truly white mark on a dark background (which is the only place you'd use a white pen), and the lines/marks drawn with the pen tend to get blurred as the ink spreads more than it should before drying. I love the flow of the ink in these pens, none of the others I've used compare. I mainly use these for drawings on black cardstock and the ink shows very well. I've tried them on other various colored cardstock and papers and while the ink flows smoothly it does show better on the darker colors when they are the only pen used in the drawing. I wanted some pretty metallic pens for some black labels and new spice jars I received. I am very happy with these silver gel pens and they fit my needs perfectly. They look beautiful on the black labels and I love how they write! The tip against the paper is so soft and gliding, not scratchy and rough like so many others. I am excited to use these for many projects and to address Christmas labels and cards. Great find

I got this gel pen to add detail work on drawings and watercolor paintings. It works great for this purpose. The ink is water resistant and doesn't seem to run at all. It is very visible on top of pencil sketch and works great to add eye shine (which I used it for in the attached photo of my beagle sketch) or highlights. Great little gel pens in a value pack so that I can have one in all of my pencil cases and brush bags.

I love these metallic gold gel pens! The ink is so pretty and shiny! They are nice to write with as well. They have a fine tip too. If you like colorful bright colors , you will enjoy these pens. I highly recommend them!

Very slightly scratchy, but seem to cover well with minimal skipping. The opaqueness of the white gel increases as the ink dries. The pens work well…not as good as brand name pens, but are a lot more cost effective and a good deal for the price.

So, what do I need white gel pens for? I recently ordered a package of mixed-shape small chalkboard style picks for my charcuterie boards. The ones that came with my set are slate, and while I love them, they get smudged easily with chalk.These are the perfect answer. They work really well and you can write much smaller than you are able to with chalk.Good price

Inexpensive? Yes - but there's good reason for it. I got these to write on black labels. It's for personal use, so it's not a big deal, but the white gel doesn't flow evenly nor does it provide full coverage on black paper. Really disappointing. It's legible and I'll make due, but I'd happily pay more for a set that is consistent and provides good coverage.
