Seventh Generation Hand Wash, Free and Clear - 12 oz: Eco-Friendly and Gentle on Skin Review

Warning, this is not the product you will find in the store. I ordered 3 packs for severely eczema prone hands after using a bottle purchased from Target. The picture shows that each of the bottles looks different. I'm not sure if the wrong product was dispensed or if it was so badly contaminated that bacteria started to grow, but typically the clear soap in these bottles was cloudy or completely opaque. I will not buy these online again.

Ordered with the idea that Fresh Lemon Tea Tree Scent was ordered with Seventh Generation Purely Clean Hand Wash Soap. This fragrance leaves a pleasant, soft lemon tone after application. We have the "Free & Clean Unscented" form of this hand cleanser, which leaves a fairly strong smell of plastic and some type of cleaning chemical.

Have been using this soap for many years. Most of the time when I went to buy it here in town, it was already sold out, so I had to buy something else. Saw it at Revain and will be buying it there now, although it was only limited to 2 when I bought it. It's everything it says on the bottle and well worth the money!

Smells like carpet cleaning solution leaving your hands smelling like chemicals. I'm confused. Shouldn't it be Free & Clean Hand Soap, an unscented liquid soap made from plants and free of fragrances or other unnatural substances? It makes no sense. I've used seventh generation wheel soap and it's turned out great - clear, cleans well and has no odor. But this hand soap is very different. And it stinks!

I have been buying Seventh Generation products for a while and have never been disappointed. Hand soap is perfect for our family as we prefer colorless, unscented products. I. I can get refills for existing pump bottles. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to buy seventh generation products.
