The plugs fit my Bernina 830 Record jack perfectly and the pedal works smoothly, gradually increasing from slow to fast as the pressure on the foot increases. I can't say anything about the durability of the product at the moment; However if he dies within 3 years I will come back to update my review.

Thought I'd found a worthy replacement. At first it worked as it should. After a few months of use, the average speed range becomes very difficult to control. Still starts smoothly, lower and higher speeds are still ok, but medium speed is a pain. The return window is closed and there are no guarantees. thanks jeff

I have a Bernina 830 Record Electronic which I inherited from my dear mother-in-law a few years ago. It was originally purchased in 1979. I had the car serviced at a Bernina dealer but didn't want to pay the current price for a new pedal. When I found this online I ordered it. I made sure the connectors shown in the photo are compatible with my Bernina. This new pedal works like a charm and I'm able to enjoy sewing again because it's so easy to control the speed, especially taking off.
