I don't often write reviews, but these gloves deserve it. The leather is soft but durable and stitched very well, with double stitching at all stress points including around the closed ankles. Double skin between the thumb and forefinger and the heel of the hand. Wrist adjustment is via Velcro, plus glove adjustment via an adjustable small paracord with rigid nylon locks.
