I have been looking for a reasonably priced item that can be used for tedious needlework and sewing. I have had these folding scissors in the past and liked them for their portability and the safety of the folding design. They work the same as these, so I'm happy with them.

Perfection in a small foldable form. I love her. They are excellent quality, sharp and, as we said, foldable. They fit perfectly in your purse, car, desk drawer, pocket (but not recommended), small sewing kit or first aid kit. I received two pairs at this price, they were very good and excellent quality. Highly recommended.

I bought these to include in the sewing kits I made for my nieces. I also put them in a crochet bag because they fold up and can't hurt the project I'm working on. They are sharp enough to cut thin fabrics, thread, cotton cord and yarn, but are not designed for heavy objects. They remain closed when folded and fit into small spaces.

Difficult/difficult to open and close, has to fiddle with to keep blades closed when closing handles. I think it needs to be stiff so it doesn't fall apart, but hooked would be better. The blades are sharp enough. I wish the keychain loop was a little larger so I could attach it to my small carabiner, but it works.
