I will confess that I don't shave often enough – a few times a week at best, and I usually have a beard and mustache so I usually only have to shave my neck and higher up on my cheeks. They are good if you have experience, but they seem to be too slow and get boring very quickly. I find that the additional derby blades allow for a smoother, closer shave. When it comes to blades, the quality of the steel is everything and you get what you pay for. They'll do the job, but as a hairstylist, I'm not a fan of them myself. I shave necks and contours for many clients on a daily basis so I need quality and consistency I can count on, which just isn't the same.

I mean let's face it these are cheap disposable blades meant to be used once and then thrown away. And they're great for that, but DO NOT try to over use them as the metal is so soft it quickly loses its edge and you'll bleed if you pull the skin and look like you're from a slasher. You may even need to use 2 blades for 1 shave. But because of their low price, you can afford to use as many as you want, and there aren't many options for disposable razors. They taught me how to shave with a razor. I always keep a large stash of this on hand for when I don't feel like smoothing or sanding. Break them in half and use them in a straight razor (shavette) or save them for double-edged safety razors. They are priced just right and are very spicy. They last much longer than their peers.

Terrible dull blades. I'm new to using razor blades but have just used the Black Widow Premium blades that are included. It was great so I figured they would be just as good - *wrong* Hands down, that was the worst shave I've ever had with a razor, three times. Three more new blades, all terribly blunt, tugged and tugged at the hair on the back of your neck, leaving horrible razor burns in their wake. Coming back to my black widow premiums, an immediate improvement.
