USEFUL: A few weeks ago I took a road trip to Zion National Park and found that a 2.5 liter tank held more than enough water to fill my 5ft 9in and 135 Pound heavy physique to carry through multiple 5-7 hour hikes in sunny Utah weather. I've seen others complain about the plastic taste in bag water so I was concerned. I soaked the inside of the bag in a pod of dish soap and hot water for 10 minutes. Then rinsed thoroughly until it squeaks. Be sure to pull it completely out of the hose by constantly pulling on the mouthpiece to allow water to flow freely through the hose.
