I love the thickness of the solid walls and handle of this pitcher; it looks and feels like glass without the weight of glass. Although it's bigger than what I was looking for, it's very nice and I'm glad I found it. If the manufacturer offered this style and construction in a 2 to 2.5 liter jar, I would buy that too. (Oh please!)

Should have read other reviews - this would be the perfect punch glass, light weight and large capacity. But the handle is glued rather randomly. I had visions of gooey punch on the dining room carpet. I need to find something else before Christmas. I am returning this one - will not be buying another as other buyers have had an issue with the handle. If it wasn't for the grip issue it would be great.

Pitcher is pleasing to the eye. No curly hints and twisted embellishments that fill with dirt. A smooth pitcher without useless adornments makes cleaning easier. Smoked glass that hides the nature of its contents but is sometimes a desirable feature. light when empty. It is unlikely to break if dropped. It doesn't shatter like glass when dropped. The jug is almost beautiful if, like me, you like a true minimalist shape that follows a functional aesthetic.

I was lazy because I usually read all the reviews and now when I read them there are some reviews where the buyer claimed the handle broke off. I was about to return it but my son really liked the size and shape to use for photography of the fish he sells as a tropical breeder. Luckily I was able to convert it. This pitcher is AMAZING. I wish it had a lid to store in the fridge but a bit of pressing and sealing does the trick. I was a little worried I'd ordered the wrong one when I opened it, but looks can be deceiving. This is the perfect size for sangria. Pictured is a 1.5 liter bottle of wine, more liquor (maybe a cup), orange, lime, peaches and nearly a pound of strawberries. Only a 1.5 liter wine bottle fits in the lower handle bracket. It's very light and weighs about a gallon of milk when full.
