I caught a pair of loose pants I was wearing working on the sharp corner of a metal table. I ordered these patches to see if I could salvage my pants and they worked great. I had a hole, part of a tear, about an inch long. I was able to line up the fabric of the pants so well that the tear is barely noticeable as the patch holds everything together.
