Really Cat 7? in Computers & Accessories

I have a 50 foot reel of this flat cable running through a couple of rooms to an HDBASET adapter. The HDBASET adapter powers the projector with an HDBASET connector. I've noticed intermittent cabling issues, which are often resolved with a little wiggling of the cables. I have a feeling this cable is not really CAT7 compliant and if so it would be interesting to see their certification. at my length. 33% failure rate (updated verification after replacement: 66% failure rate)

Ordered a set of 6 1ft Cat7 shielded flat ribbon cables. 2 out of 6 cables failed the shield test when tested with the Klein Tools LAN Explorer Basic Cable Tester prior to use, with a 33% failure rate. Bandwidth not tested, but Cat7 specs say connector-to-connector shielding to avoid interference. Very disappointing as the product looks very sturdy and well built and the flat cable color coding is great. I bought these in July 2020 and am currently writing a review. A few years ago I moved to a new location and decided that instead of installing ethernet cables it would be better to use our own router's Wi-Fi with a newly installed cable modem. It was fine at first, but over time the performance got worse and worse for both my Mac and PC. The cable company Sp-----m of course doesn't support Wi-Fi on our router and they wanted us to rent their own "approved" router for WiFi [so much for WiFi…
