Edison Energy Saving Bulbs

I ordered these as a direct replacement for the lightbulb that came with our house. Very fortunate to have the feel and look of an Edison bulb without the high electrical load that comes with it.

Generally nice light, slightly less lumens

I really like these lamps. I've only been using it for a few days, so I can't comment on durability. But they're really pleasing to the eye, and the big advantage over incandescent bulbs is the energy savings over time. As long as they last around the stated hours, they will more than pay for themselves. I replaced 12 40 watt incandescent bulbs with these. They're definitely brighter than a 40-watt incandescent, but they're not as bright as a 60-watt incandescent; I compared them head to head…

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Slightly torn
