Very bright light and bulbs don't get hot at all

Pretty good bulbs. That they don't give off heat is pretty cool and the light is very clean, it doesn't have the yellow haze of other bulbs.

Pros
  • Warm white light
Cons
  • Not as thick as other

Edison Energy Efficient Light

I ordered these as a direct replacement for the bulbs that came with our house. Very fortunate to have the feel and look of an Edison bulb without the high electrical load that comes with it.

Pros
  • Vintage Design
Cons
  • Some Small Things

Overall pleasant light, slightly less lumens

I really like these bulbs. I've only been using it for a few days, so I can't comment on durability. But they're really pleasing to the eye, and the big advantage over incandescent bulbs is the energy savings over time. As long as they last around the stated hours, they will more than pay for themselves. I replaced 12 40 watt incandescent bulbs with these. They're definitely brighter than a 40-watt incandescent, but they're not as bright as a 60-watt incandescent; I compared them head to head…

Pros
  • Wide application
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
