Our factory adapter blew out during a lightning strike. I purchased this replacement for buzzer #28630 even though it wasn't listed on the compatibility chart. It works great and I don't notice any cosmetic or functional differences. worth your money!

Works great as a replacement. SummerInfant is difficult to reach due to limited customer service hours, so this is the only viable option. The cable is only as long as the power adapter for the viewer, not the camera. I need it for my camera, so it's a few feet smaller than the original. It serves its purpose, albeit not as perfectly as the original.

Ideal for an extra power supply as the viewer has very poor battery life and the screen does not work when unplugged. Updated 9/14/16 A : Well ,this charger stopped working after 6 months it worked fine all the time but now it just doesn't work luckily we bought it as a backup so we still have the original charger from the monitor manufacturer but that is not like that.The charger was used extensively, we didn't bend the cable, it didn't get damaged, it just stopped working.I would recommend…

I ordered this charger to replace the main charger that came with the monitor. This charger will NOT charge the battery, it will only prevent the battery from being fully discharged when connected. If you unplug the monitor, it will turn off within 30 minutes no matter how long you charge it. Products that do this are bad for your battery!
