👞 Colorado-Made Shoe Defenders: Effective Moisture Absorbing Shoe Deodorizer Review

This is awesome. I travel a lot for work and live off suitcases. They help keep my shoes always fresh and prevent them from smelling like my clothes in my suitcase. I need to order more for my shoes in the closet at home

I bought the first set for my friend's very smelly sneakers. He runs every day and they never dry out with sweat, resulting in an extra pungent smell wherever he left them in the house. But after a few days of shoe protectors the smell was gone! They worked so well I bought another work shoe which stepped on it.

They appear to be well made, smell nice but they are very small. It looks like it fills the entire shoe in the photos, but the anti-stink beans only last for the bottom inch or so when held upright. If it makes sense Anyhow, I seriously doubt they are worth the $20 I paid for them as they don't fill the entire shoe.

So full disclosure here, they are a local business and we were more than happy to buy from them on Revain. We were not disappointed! We ordered two pairs, one for our daughter who is a dancer and wears a variety of shoes for her high intensity activities. Then another one for my wife, who spanks shoes in addition to her work as a nurse and also in her "Gladiator" training. Good work on this product!

I've tried several powders that don't completely eliminate shoe odor and I'm so glad I finally tried these insoles because they really work. I'd have to throw out my most comfortable walking shoes, Adidas, if I couldn't get rid of the smell, so thank you Shoe Defenders! The fabric is attractive and I appreciate the history of how, where and by who they are made.

They absorb odors well but do almost nothing for moisture. My work shoes are still damp on the inside after wearing them. They are also a lot smaller than I expected. I think that would be great for regular tennis shoes or sneakers, but for non-ventilated leather work boots they aren't big enough to absorb all the moisture. The shoes in the photo are men's size 10 for reference.

A bit pricey in my opinion but they work really well and last as long as the description says. I bought my son several pairs: soccer shoes (training and game), sneakers, baseball caps and more. They are far superior to the car air fresheners you buy in the store and much more effective than other types of odor fighters, so I think it's worth the price.

I have two sons - 4 and 9 - and they both have incredibly smelly feet and shoes for some reason (I even make them leave their shoes outside so they don't stink in our house !). Bought a pair of air fresheners to try in my son's basketball shoes. Wonderful. I bought a set for every pair of shoes in every closet. Shown them to several parents on my son's wrestling and tennis teams. Shown them to several parents on my second son's basketball team. Everyone bought them after smelling my sons; Ringer bag and "no stink" basketball bag. It's quite funny to see the whole team unpack their shoes and put them back in their bags before games/training.
