Shoei J-Cruise II Helmet (X-Small) (Black) Review

Overall a good helmet. Wify has a pressure point in this helmet that we haven't fixed yet. It's not easy, it's hard. The quality of the material is good. The shipper sent the wrong color, matte black instead of gloss black, now we have other colors. Return journey not possible as a trip was planned several months in advance. I'm not happy but it's too late to complain. All in all, it's still a decent helmet.

The best 3/4 helmet on the market, you can't beat it. IMO Excellent ventilation, excellent quality when flipping the sun visor down and snapping the face shield into place. I looked at five or six different brands in a bike shop and tried all of them, tried them, I felt the quality, I saw the quality, but the price wasn't right, so I went to Revain, the price was better. To be comfortable, a helmet needs to be wind tunnel shaped, well ventilated, lightweight, of the highest quality and use lightweight materials. The interior of this helmet is quality you can see and feel. The Clear Face Shield makes for a smooth ride and to my surprise I installed a previously used Blue Tooth headset. Bought for a month of riding in all weather conditions, Shoei has never let me down...until now. The fit (M) was terrible after a few hours, the pressure points were so bad I had to trim the cheek pads which needed to fit and cushion. In the first two weeks it rained a lot in cool weather and the helmet worked great. Then the weather got hot and productivity went to hell. You get what you pay for. I love this helmet. I was skeptical about the fold down sun visor but it's great. I wear big glasses and it doesn't bother me. The sun visor is low enough that you have no unobstructed vision areas and the view is as if you were wearing optical quality sunglasses. The comfort is better than any helmet I have worn in the past. I love the ratchet strap and was concerned about how I would attach the helmet to the bike.
