Description of πŸ‘‘ Shoei RF-SR Solid Helmet (Medium) - Matte Blue: Lightweight Safety and Style Combined

The name SHOEI has long been synonymous with "premium" in the motorcycle helmet market - a credential that hundreds of loyal men and women in their Japan factories wear with great pride. The evolution and production of their world-class helmet line is a meticulous process that combines the very latest in technology with consumer feedback, modern testing practices, advanced materials, and over 50 years of helmet building experience. Just like the very first SHOEI helmet built by their founder back in 1959, every SHOEI today is still handmade in Japan utilizing a sophisticated process that involves over 50 people for each and every helmet. Aerodynamic Shell Design: Aerodynamic properties are maximized through extensive wind tunnel testing and professional riders' feedback. Dual-layer multi-density EPS liner enhances impact absorption and ventilation.

Solid Good Helm is a great bang for your buck!

In almost 40 years of riding the dirt roads of Los Angeles daily, I have had many helmets, but mostly Arai first and then Shoei. But this is my first "budget" helmet and I'm impressed. Just as comfortable as any other shoe I've had but for less money. I would give this helmet five stars if they used the same strap buckle they use on their modular helmets. That archaic D-ring has always been a problemβ€”and forget about trying to attach the strap with gloves on. There should be a quick release…

How the Icon Variant should have been

Purchased Icon Variant white helmet 6 months ago. Scratched visor and cracked top. Too expensive helmet for that. As soon as I put this helmet on, I immediately noticed that the quality is much better than the Icon. I have a round or semi-oval head and it fits me perfectly. The way the visor clicks into each notch is purposeful and quality. Yes, it's still February in Michigan so I haven't been out yet, but I can say he's the keeper. Sometimes you just know you've finally made the right…

Great helmet - helmets

I had a HJC IS-17 before, which is a cheap helmet and compared to a cheaper helmet its quality is significantly better. This helmet breathes very well, it's like a real flow of air through the helmet while you ride. So much so that when it gets a little chilly I have to close the vents; With a cheaper helmet, the vents didn't matter. The visor is great and the included one makes fogging a breeze. The chin hole makes the helmet a bit stuffy so I didn't use it. The speaker cutout works great…

Great helmet. Very comfortable and quiet

Great helmet. Very comfortable and quiet. Wind noise is significantly lower than other full face helmets I own. The only downside, like other Shoei helmets I've had, is that they are sealed in such a way that they easily fog up from your breath. This is an acceptable compromise to reduce wind noise. A lockable shield takes care of the visor, however, but I wear goggles that quickly fog up in my RF-SR. I ordered the Shoei Air Mask 3 Universal Respirator and installed it in my RF-SR which greatly

Good entry level Shoei

I got this helmet because their Qwest helmets were discontinued. This is a replacement for Qwest. Fits very well for my "oval" head with no forehead hotspots. Can be worn all day. Decent ventilation. Although it could be better. it's also slightly louder than my Qwest. I get more noise from below and a little more air rising from below. It's nice here in summer, not so much in winter. Recommend a crocodile or balaclava. I added Shoei's "Pin-Lock" insert to the face shield to prevent fogging and

Nice helmet but runs small.

Nice helmet, better quality than in this price range. Doesn't feel plasticky or make creaking noises. The padding seems good but could do with some improvement but at this price you can't ask for more. I bought the XL because I thought it would fit according to the size chart. But I'm a heavy guy, and my cheeks and the back of my head are a little bigger than a normal person because of my weight. Went one size up and xxl is barley larger than xxl. I'm guessing the next bigger size is xxxl, but…
