***NO BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED***. All Shogun Motorsports standard kits have SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE along with a 1 YEAR FREE puck replacement WARRANTY for White, Black and PA2 kits. All frame slider kits come with left and right frame sliders and all necessary mounting hardware. Contact Shogun Motorsports for details. Shogun frame sliders are superior to other frame slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperatures like some types of foreign recycled Delrin or fade in the sun. Each puck has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the puck tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Some Shogun products are available in a 3 piece kit which consist of matching frame sliders, swing arm spools and bar ends. Made in the USA.

Great sliders for the Z400 2020

These sliders with no cutouts are a great purchase. They are easy to install and the instructions on the website couldn't be more detailed. You only have to remove one panel on the left side to install the slider, which is much easier on the Z400 than the Ninja 400, but still easy. Shogun makes high quality accessories. I've attached some pictures as I didn't see them for the Z400. I recommend and the price is right.

Pros
  • Perfect for a small home
Cons
  • A few little things

Instructions: Everything is short on the right, long on the left

I like how everything looks after installation. This gives the bike protection and character. It took me forever to install it because there were no instructions and the online instructions suck. I got the wrong information while watching a video about a slider with a different type of Shogun frame. For this slider: a short spacer and screw go to the right side where the exhaust is. Otherwise sparring doesn't work. The long gasket and screw go to the left of the clutch. I hope it helps

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Better safe than sorry

Easy to install. Too bad there were no instructions in the box. You must go online to download. The only problem is that the website they direct you to isn't even ready yet. So you have to google. Luckily Moto911.com had instructions but they are pretty basic. Looks good, significantly cheaper than OEM which costs three times as much. And they are well made and easy to replace with sliders in case they get damaged in an accident. A must have for bikes you intend to use on tracks or corners.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

The worst part of the install was removing and installing the .

The Shogun No Cut Frame Slider was easy to fit on this 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400. The hardest part was removing and installing the fairings. Seems to be a solid product. Installation instructions taken from website. Note that these frame sliders mount with an offset bracket through the frame structure to the top face of the cylinder head mounting bolts, allowing the sliders to protrude through the fairing hole. It looks great and in case of a fall it will be the ultimate test for you.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
