Description of 🏍️ Shogun Motorsports GSXR600, GSXR750 2011-2019 Non-Invasive Black Frame Sliders (1 Pack)

NO BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED. Shogun frame sliders are superior to other frame slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each puck has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the puck tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Available in a 3 piece kit (bar sliders, swingarm sliders and frame sliders.). Made in the USA.

Fair price $$ for parts

Good match, fits 2018 model. Slightly tight left hand fairing. Only real problem; NO INSTRUCTIONS! Just a piece of paper, never understand!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

IDK what to think of parts

idk should I be happy with that or something else. I can't help but think that if the right slicer was a little longer than the left, it would protect my bike better.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Only available in black

Excellent slider in general

Excellent slider in general. Don't get up on the bike, you hardly notice it. I took off one star because of the lack of installation instructions. This is important because tightening the screws to factory settings is critical!

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Honest and Honest Review

Bought these for my 2018 GSXR750 and paid extra for the "Carbon Fiber" version. When it arrived it was a regular back with two carbon fiber plastic rings. I plan to return them and buy a better brand. I can't recommend the carbon version.

Pros
  • Nice Thing
Cons
  • Getting Trouble

Great addition to hold your bike

Easy to install even without instructions. YouTube answered a question I had. Getting dressed took about 40 minutes. I know from experience that sliders can save a bike. Went down two weeks off Sturgis a few years ago. A few scrapes and a bent arm is all I get out of it. 100€ for a new lever. The sliders saved me from this trip.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Low repairability

You look great on Gixxer.

I installed them on my 2015 GSX-R750. Installation was very easy. Remove the panel, unscrew one screw and fasten it. You need a blue screw lock, which is not included in the scope of delivery. You will also need a torque wrench as it is bolted to each side with screw holes for the motor mount. There are no instructions but you can download the setup pdf from the Shogun website. The build quality is excellent and they look great. I would give them 5 stars but I'm not sure how well they actually…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • not reliable

The coil glides and rod glides fit like a dream and took 5 minutes to install. However, if you want to mount frame sliders, you need to buy the bracket separately. The package looked like it wasn't there when it arrived because there was a cut out in the plastic for it, but there was nothing. Maybe it's her fault but it didn't come with instructions so I guess I have to A). Cut fairings (this won't happen) or B). Order bracket separately. Correct me if I'm wrong but if this is going to be a…

Non-optimized setup for 2020

So first of all they fit so overall I still give them 5 stars. They look nice (I'll add a few pics), they have a low profile, and my GSXR is all black, so the black sliders on my bike are basically camouflage. If you're in 2020 (I can't speak to other years) the setup won't be quite as detailed in the Shogun guide. The sliders are recessed into the plastic more than shown/described and you will need to make a fairly large hole at the end. You will need a dremel or other grinding tool as the…
