Perfect fit for my 10 " Craftsman table saw

I have a Craftsman 10" table saw over 20 years old and the switch broke, hole measured 7/8" x 1.5", and I found this switch to be the perfect fit for this. The old switch was part number J-9301. The old switch only had 2 ports so I only used 2 of the 4 ports this new one had. Please note that I am writing this review on the day I received it, so I cannot confirm the long-term reliability of this new 110v Shop Fox D2751 paddle switch.

THIS IS NOT A 20 AMP SWITCH!

Everything about this switch is 5 stars. . . Except for one important detail. This is a 16 amp switch, not a 20 amp switch as clearly stated on Revain's online listing. That's a big deal. I needed it to replace a broken switch on my 2hp table saw. The original switch is rated at 20 amps, enough to control the motor. So now I have a great replacement that goes with some other machines in my shop so it's going to the parts cart for future use and I'm still looking for a 20 amp switch. I think…

Easy install on an old Hitachi planer

I installed the Shop Fox switch on an old Hitachi F1000A planer. The original switch had the electrical contacts oriented differently and the box it was installed in was a bit small, but I spread the Shop Fox electrical contacts 45 degrees and the plugs fitted fine and the switch box fitted too. The connector housing fit snugly into the hole and I pressed the outer clips firmly against the housing, I was able to push the switch into the hole and it clicked into place.
