Shop Vac 90585 Foam Sleeve Pack Review

This is a replacement foam filter for my Shop-Vac. Suitable for excellent and structurally identical quality as the original. Good price and timely delivery!

My last case has certainly seen better days. I ordered this one and it fits like a glove. No problem installing it and now my little ShopVac works much better.

Said to be 90585 but it isn't. I put it on my 12 gallon shop vac that uses 90585 and the fit is terrible as shown in the photos. You will need a rubber band or zip tie to make it work. It's also not a Shop Vac brand, it seems.

I have gone through several paper filters each year to clean up spills and cat scum on our carpet. Without a filter, water will come out of the air outlet. This filter fits well and keeps the water inside. When everything is ready, I just clean it with water and call.

The product description says these are Shop-Vac 90585 branded foam filters. What we received was three unpackaged foam filters from another brand in a mailer. No Shop Vac packaging. These foam filters are thinner than real Shop-Vac foam filters. Haven't used it yet but won't buy again due to bait and switch.

This product came in a discreet plastic bag with no markings to suggest it is indeed Shop-Vac branded as stated in the product description. It also doesn't fit the shape as the picture suggests. I installed it on a 2.5 gallon quiet shop vac with a replacement 90585 filter on the label. It comes in a very versatile size, fits all types and is by no means the same quality as this one. that came with a vacuum or even the same shape.
