I found this clock at a flea market and as I stood there looking at the clock I knew it didn't work and "I said to myself" why Buying something like this can't be repaired but I bought it anyway and it looks like new, everything is cleaned and there is new movement in it. I thought I would never find the right dial to replace my little 1980's Lenox watch that I carry on my dressing table. I checked and rechecked the dimensions and this one was perfect (tip: don't remove the inner plastic gasket - that'll make it fit). I don't know what kind of battery it takes, but I hope it's the standard battery. It breathed new life into the old watch and I love it.

This watch is attractive and comes with a second battery. My problem was that I couldn't remove the back cover to insert the battery. The instructions indicate that there is a notch for inserting a screwdriver to pry out the back, but the only knot I could find was where the time setting knob was and I didn't want to risk sticking the screwdriver in that area, so i gave it back . . . The numbers are bright and difficult to see even from a short distance.
