Great Puller - Lifting Accessory

This puller is very well built and strong enough. It was packaged fairly well for shipping but the package containing the tool was open and missing the nut. I just had nuts that size so there were no problems. This worked perfectly to remove the sprocket from my mini chopper electric motor so I could replace the bearings.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

Works well for a cheap tool.

I usually never buy Chinese instruments because they usually get on my nerves. It's made well enough to get the job done and I would recommend it for medium to small stock builds. If I were going to use it professionally I would choose a precision tool, but for a DIYer it gets the job done.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Works with large bearings, does not work well with small bearings

If you need a standard bearing puller great it will fit. However, if you need to pull out smaller bearings, look elsewhere. The design of this bearing puller will cause it to go off center if you turn the bottom adjustment screws past a certain point and it's useless.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

A small bearing on the treadmill motor shaft managed it

I used this tool to remove a small bearing from the back of the treadmill motor. I adjusted all the screws to fit the bearing snugly and then slowly removed the bearing. I also put some WD40 on the axle shaft to keep the bearing from slipping with the puller tension.

Pros
  • Lasting Test Results
Cons
  • Alright

NOT for pressing gears onto stepper motors!

The only reason this thing gets 2 stars is because it doesn't fit the job. Based on the photo I thought it might be possible to remove the small press fit gear from my stepper motor shaft for my 3D printer. If they made one with a thinner "push screw" going through the gear this thing would get 5 stars from me!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing

This little puller is great for model airplane engines!

This little tool is great for removing the propeller drive from the front of a model airplane engine. The pull surfaces of the two tabs that fit into the prop drive recess are nearly perfect for the size 60 Glow motor. The only thing I had to add to the build was a clamp so the clamps fit snugly into and within the prop drive groove .

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Secret

Poorly finished, to be avoided for jacks and accessories

Puller arms and main carrier are rough resulting in pins being misaligned when removing smaller bearings such as 608Z. The hole in the high beam is far from the center. The alignment screws only made the puller more difficult to adjust. An offset threaded hole is enough to make this particular item not recommended, but the misalignment of the pins and shaft makes it almost impossible to use on smaller shafts + bearings. If your shaft has a larger nub diameter, this could possibly work for you.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Interval
