Works great easy to lift

They are great for moving my workbench. They lift fairly easily, roll well (although my floor is pretty slippery) and are fairly easy to install. As others have noted the screw pattern is not exact but works well to get initial height and centering correct. The screws that come with the kit will also work, but I would recommend using better quality screws.

This was my second sentence.

I didn't like the included screws for installation. The screws were cross-slotted and tended to chip off despite the pre-drilled pilot holes. I used a better quality US made steel star gear propeller. The design of the reels seems very heavy. This works very well for my application. They were used on a portable ladder. I have the previous set on a portable workbench.

Good quality, best material handling

The template is a great idea, but it's about 1/8 inch tall. Also adjusted slightly under the floor for more clearance when the wheels are down. I followed the instructions. This will raise it off the ground by about half an inch. My workbench gets stuck when I try to wheel it out of the garage. I will install the crossbar between the wheels. Time. It's hard to put your foot up to activate the wheels. I find myself bending over every time. Otherwise excellent quality. It just needs a few…

Can't hold up to 700 pounds

I used this project to support a 7 foot bench that weighed north of 700 pounds. I figured this would be enough for those 880lb reels. Maybe I was just unlucky, but one of the four crashed in the first 10 minutes of loading, almost immediately after the movement started. The other three were enough to move the bench, but I feel I need to change my strategy of a stationary bench that can be moved from time to time. , but they are meant to be attacked one at a time.

Check dimensions before drilling or installing

The images on the Revain and the piece of paper that comes in the box have very different dimensions of the mounting bracket measured from the base. I have sent reference measurements of 2.4 inches on a piece of paper in the box but only after making a mock up on scrap metal for verification. This gave me about 1/2 inch of lift with the wheels down. Also, of the 4 brackets that come with it, 3 have a slightly different screw pattern than the fourth. The odd one matched the template that came in

The set is of good quality and worth the money.

I used them on a mobile base of a homemade table saw. I wanted something better than the mobile bases you can buy. I wanted a base that lifts the entire saw, not just the front, and also didn't want one that uses a foot lever to push down on tiny legs to block the saw's movement, it looked like it was rocking. The caster kit says it will hold up to 800 pounds and my saw weighs over 700 pounds and the casters lift it up with no problem. Don't plan on using the bolts that come with the kit, reel…

Sturdy, well made, saved me a lot of trouble!

Of course you don't need a workbench with wheels, no matter how securely they are attached. What's the point of having a 700-pound workbench if it's supported by wheels? Subscribe to this group of videos. This not only allows me to move the workbench when I need it, but also to keep it where it belongs; on 2 square meters of its solid wood legs. As an added bonus, it was raining very hard and I pulled up my bench just in case. Of course, the water meandered through my shop and saved my bench…

Good, strong and sufficient.

First, they come completely disassembled. This is normal as you will need to install the panels and then reassemble them. I assembled one and then used it as a guide for everyone, then disassembled the one I assembled, installed it and then reassembled it. The raise and lower mechanism rotates on 2 6mm screws that go through 3/32 metal pieces. I don't think they hold up to everyday use. In a household store with occasional use, they should be fine. The real rollers can be easily swapped out if…

So far so good for workbenches

They're pretty durable so I don't think this will be a problem. Replaced the cross bolts with 5/16 and used 1/4 machine screws since they attach to the tubular steel post. The cross bolt holes in the bracket were already 5/16 and the mounting holes were already 1/4 but holes for the arm/pulley plate had to be drilled to 5/16. I'm not sure what type of scrap they're made from, but it's very hard and I ended up using an end mill instead of a drill. Time will tell if they hold up. I think if…
