Works well best for multipurpose devices

In the photo I uploaded you can see the mic if you look up at the center. I use it for the choir in my church. Usually it is 3 to 6 people. Lots of range and you can hear them. Angle and position affect your feedback, just like any other microphone. It's so small that nobody can see it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not the best

Quality sound in condenser microphones

The long cable made it easy to position over the speaker and it picked up very well. He was a bit touchy at times, but overall he did his job. I could only give 4 or 5 stars so it's really closer to 4.5 stars but not quite perfect. Really good product, especially for the price!

Pros
  • Build quality
Cons
  • A number of factors

You really can't go wrong with Shure. .

You really can't go wrong with Shure. We used 2 mics to record a church piece and they did a great job with the whole scene. But you do need to know how to set up condenser mics: phantom power, the 3:1 rule, and a spectrum analyzer. Do these things and you will have no problems.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Holy cow, you are amazing. You use phantom power and you win.

Just installed 3 of these over our school stage. Holy cow, you are amazing. They use phantom power and, when the gain is set high enough, will pick up farts from the back row of the audience. Bought to replace O/H mics from the 90's and the sound quality has improved exponentially, not to mention 1/3 the price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Wow. I almost can't believe it.

It's hard to explain how we use them but basically two are hanging from the 9ft ceiling in the room where we are behind a one way mirror watching people knowing they are being watched ( no, we are not cops). I've set up rooms this way many times over the past 25 years and have never had a mic of this quality, especially at this price point. I was about to buy a radio for a monitored employee but after our trial run with two of them I didn't have to spend the money. The sound was crystal clear…

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems
