DoA and poor compatibility

When the microphone arrived it made nothing but noise. Nothing soon. Additionally, it's almost impossible to find anything that connects to the TA4F interface other than Shure's own handheld devices.

Pros
  • Microphones and accessories
Cons
  • Something else

Too many sound problems

This microphone is susceptible to frictional noise, explosive noise and breath distortion when properly positioned on the lapel (just below the face). If you place it on one side of your chest, you'll hear the volume change as the speaker moves your face from side to side. Too many audio problems prevent a clean recording.

Pros
  • Microphones
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I love this Mike! on Microphones & Accessories

I've been using this mic all summer as a traveling speaker/teacher and love it. The Shure mic that came with my setup was fine, but I had issues with an uneven pickup when I turned my head to the side (dropouts) or looked at my sheet music (too loud and distorted). This is such an improvement! I've found that placing it in the center of my shirt (okay, I'm a woman and I don't wear a tie!) is almost perfect. As long as I don't rotate my head more than 45 degrees, no prolapse occurs. And lookingโ€ฆ
