quick and easy plumbing solution

removing the pump from my RV took longer than replacing this part! It instantly brought my dead pump back to life! Much better than buying a new pump.

My micro switch was bad

This is exactly what I ordered the micro switch was bad and mine and I hooked it up to my water pump and it works great can't say more.

Insufficient Rating

This part will fit a 12V Shurflo pump but will not support normal 13.8V solar charging and will fatally fail after attempting to start during volumetric charging. The part works indefinitely at a voltage of less than 13V. Design problem or user problem?

There may be a problem.

Now I have the THIRD in 6 weeks. The original, little-used 4048 failed and I ordered a replacement. Inserted and earned. About a month of which a week was used. Then it didn't work at all - around DAY 32. I'm on my THIRD now. I hope this one holds up better than the previous one. The WORST thing isn't the $25 part, it's the slow, painful process of removing the pump, taking it apart, replacing it, and back again. I don't know if it's parts or quality control but I HOPE I don't have to do this…
