Not so quiet on the boat

Works well, easy to install with 4008. It holds up but isn't as quiet as I'd like it to be. Not as quiet as the 4008 it replaced.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great fresh water pump!

Replaced the existing Jabsco fresh water pump on my sailboat with this one. Razboltovka was close enough to work. The new pump is much quieter (at least twice as quiet) and better self-priming. Too bad I replaced the old one a year ago.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not bad

UPDATE (again) for boating and sailing

The pump started to sputter and then stalled after about a year and a half of operation. Couldn't set it up again. It's very uncomfortable when you shower, you're all soapy. . . and then the water goes away. After some maintenance, the pump is now working well. Of course there was a learning curve.

Amazing upgrade quality on 20 year old Shurflow replacement

The older 2000 ShufFlow on my boat eventually died. Replaced with the latest and greatest and 2 things: 1) amazing pressure build despite both being rated at 45psi, and 2) quiet. Didn't even know it was on. No frizz or rumble! Have now ordered another to replace one in the camper.

  • Great price
Cons
  • Not sure

Much quieter than my old pump.

I was very surprised how quiet and powerful this pump is. I barely hear it running and that's part of the noise my old pump had. It's hard to believe this is a 3 GPH pump. I'm pleasantly surprised at the volume and performance after the first few hours of installation. If something changes and doesn't work I will update my review.

  • Pleasant

Works well and not too loud.

I live on a sailboat and when my 20 year old pump died I read the reviews and decided on the ShurFlo Aqua King II. It has enough pressure - enough to shower and barely noticeable when running. I also bought a noise cancellation kit and a storage tank that allows me to get a glass of water without turning on the pump. Good unit, I recommend.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Faulty

Great water pump!

My old pump failed on my 30ft unit. Searay, I needed something to give me water pressure and also be {fire proof} because my pump is about 2 feet from my 250 twin engine Chrysler. Didn't want spark problems that could cause an explosion. This marine pump did the job, it works flawlessly and the water pressure from my sink was way more than I expected! also a kitchen sink! also, like I said, IGNITION IS SAFE! Directly on the sticker it says "Please make sure you book a safe for all your sea boat

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell
