Description of πŸ“Έ Enhance Your Photography with Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F (205955)

It allows photographers to enjoy the world of zero distortion that is ideal for landscape or architecture shooting. Continuing the tradition of the ultra wide angle range with incredible perspective, this new lens offers an optimal package. With F4 throughout the zoom range, it is one stop brighter than the previous model, allowing photographers to use faster shutter speed.

Super Angle lens on Sony a7r mk iii .5 Star

Surprisingly sharp. We've used it for some of our product photos, using a very good super angle lens on the Sony a7r Mark 3.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • boring packaging

A significant part of the set.

I use this lens for 95% of all work. I rent real estate. The lens has incredibly horrible linear distortion if you're not careful with the composition.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • there are nuances

A real estate photographer's dream.

As a photographer who does a lot of real estate photography, this is the best lens I have ever used for this purpose. Distortion is very well controlled and very sharp. I've been using the Tamron 15-30 for a couple of years and after a week with this Sigma I'll be shelving the Tamron.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Has flaws

Image quality is excellent. Barrel distortion at the widest angles.

In my experience, the image quality of this lens is excellent. There is barrel distortion at the widest angles, but this is easily fixed in post-processing. In addition, it is less noticeable in many landscape shots (without a horizon line). My only complaint is that the item's listed weight of 1.5 pounds is misleading. See my photo. On my admittedly not-so-expensive kitchen scale, the weight approaches 3 pounds with plastic lids.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Commercially available

Best ULTRA Wide Zoom

Amazing lens! Especially for the price. The only other comparable lens is the Canon 11-24mm, which costs about $1,000 more. The extra 1mm of focal length and slightly higher IQ aren't worth the extra cost. The best thing about this lens is the lack of distortion. Lines are straight throughout the frame, and barrel distortion is virtually non-existent. The only thing I would find fault with about this lens is that it's quite heavy. It's heavier than most lenses except for 70-200s. The processing

Picture Perfect: Camera lenses

I took the lens with me to the Netherlands and experimented with it there. f4 is not an obstacle as you will still be shooting landscapes and architecture. Minimal distortion (you still have normal distortion when objects are too far from the lens) and vignetting. Both can be corrected in post-editing. That's a big lens. And difficult. But if you shoot far, you kind of get used to it. I haven't tried filters for this because Sigma doesn't make them for this lens. You have to go through a third…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

I was dying to keep this lens. I've been shooting with Nikon for 25 years. I have top quality 1.4 lenses as well as 2.8 zooms. I shoot a lot with 14-24 2.8 and wanted to be wider because of the architecture. I ordered this and had to adjust the focus via the dock. Everything worked out, at least that's what I thought. When I fired at 6.3 to 12mm I noticed that the right side of the door frame had a bow. I thought I would fix it in LR CC but it didn't. He corrected everything else, like the…
