Reviews were unanimous about the sharpness of this lens, so I had high hopes for it. I am happy to report that my expectations have been exceeded. The images are as sharp as my Nikkor lenses. Just one complaint and that this lens is a beast. It's hard and best to tame on a tripod. I use it for wildlife photography and I need a reach so I can start lifting weights.

I really wish this would work but the autofocus died after about 35 frames. It takes amazing photos but without autofocus I couldn't save it. After sending it back I found other people had the same problem. Some problems appeared quite quickly, others after a month. All Canon users love me, but people need to know. Shots taken with a Canon EOS Rebel t7 and a Sigma 60-600 arrived yesterday. These pictures were my first pictures. foo dog's photos were taken from my kitchen table to the landing about 35 feet from me. I am very impressed that the lens captures the colors of the statues in such low light. The bird feeder is about 100 meters away and if you zoom in you can even see the mesh. I love the versatility of this lens. I've used it for events and was able to take group photos from 15 feet away and get candid shots from across the room. Focusing is quick and the images are clear.
